International Society for Studying of the Aging Male

The International Society for the Study of the Aging Male (ISSAM) was formed and incorporated in the United Kingdom in 1997 with the objective of promoting research, study and education on all matters relating to men's health after the age of 30.
The Society aims to encourage physicians and other health-care professionals to understand male illness in the context of the aging process as a whole and to adopt a multi-disciplinary approach to caring for male patients. More specifically, the Society sets out to promote the concept of healthy aging.

Endocrinology department of ATF MR PFUR

Endocrinology department was established in 2008 on the Advanced Training Faculty for medical workers at Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia. Svetlana Yuryevna Kalinchenko, Professor Doctor of Medical Science, has been head of endocrinology department of ATF MW PFUR since 2009. Teaching doctors is the main sphere for the department, to achieve this goal certified teaching circles, research and clinical work are organized as well as candidates’ tuition. Clinic of male health and family life longevity is the clinical base of the department. Professors, doctors and candidates of medical science work at the department. In the clinic, which is official clinical base of the department, due to qualified specialists, latest methods and research approach it is possible to provide help to patients with andrological and endocrinologic problems

The Canadian Society for the Study of the Aging Male

The Canadian Society for the Study of the Aging Male is an association of physicians and allied health care professionals working together for the promotion of research, education and increased awareness about the medical, sociological, psychological and physical changes in aging men. The Society’s aim is to disseminate information on hypogonadism and on all other conditions that impact on the health of the male as he ages. To achieve this goal, the Society promotes workshops, lectures and publications, and encourages and supports relevant research endeavours.

The Armenian Anti-aging Medical Association (AMMA) was founded in 2000, as an Association of gynecologists-endocrinologists of Armenia. The founder of Armenian Anti-aging Medical Association is professor Mirimanova Rufina Pavlovna, she is also the founder of gynecologic endocrinology school in Armenia.

The association unites on a voluntary basis the experts occupied with practical, pedagogical and research activities in the field of obstetrics, gynecology and gynecologic endocrinology.

Ranks of the association have considerably increased within 3 years (2007-2010), among them doctors of various specialties – gynecologists, endocrinologists, cardiologists, cosmetologists-estheticians, psychologists, urologists, neurologists, laboratory doctors, radiologists, surgeons, etc., and also students of medical schools.

Activity of our organization for these years went beyond the problems which are put forward by gynecologists-endocrinologists. More and more we have to pay attention to interdisciplinary aspects of health of women and men. On this basis,during the annual Conference of the Association in 2010 within open voting, it was decided to rename Association of gynecologists - endocrinologists into the Armenian Anti-aging Medical Association (AMMA).

We consider the mission development and promoting of anti-aging preventive medicine in Armenia, advance in the Armenian market of the technologies and services, best in the world of Anti-age, creation of the Armenian school Anti-aging of medicine, popularizing it in medical circles at conferences, symposiums, training and partner programs, and for a wide range of Armenians – in articles, television air, the Internet, etc.

The purpose of AAMA is coordination of scientific and practical activities of the members in the section devoted anti-aging medicine and realization of their creative potential in interests of the solution of problems in this area.

Tasks of Association are:

1. Ensuring the scientific, methodical and organizational help to members of AAMA.
2. Promote the training of specialists.
3. Development of the international cooperation on problems of anti-aging medicine.

“Sexual Health Protection” NGO was established in 2006.

Aims of the organization are as follows:

• Propaganda of sexual, reproductive and mental health, care and improvement;
• Prevention of women’s and men’s sexual dysfunctions;
• Young people’s mental and sexual upbringing and education;
• Struggle against sexual violence, family planning and strengthening;
• Prevention of deviations of psychosexual behavior;
• STIs (sexually transmitted infections) prevention.

Sociological surveys were conducted in different regions, which results were analyzed, and informative public brochures and leaflets were published. Vigorous activities are conducted for strengthening sexual health. Regularly seminars, debates, round tables over sexual problems are organized not only for public, but also for psychologists, tutors, medical specialists.

• Members of the organization help the public of RA, especially with the programs and activities directed to the youth’s health;
• NGO cooperates with as Armenian as international organizations;
• World Association for Sexual Health (WAS);
• Sexual Health Center of Ukraine;
• Moscow City Clinic for Psycho-Endocrinology;
• Saint Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies;
• Armenian Association of Psychiatrists.
