Bruno Lunenfeld

MD, PhD, FRCOG, FACOG (hons), POGS (hons)

Bruno Lunenfeld is Professor Emeritus at the Faculty of Life Sciences, Bar-Ilan University, and Ramat Gan, Israel. He is General Secretary of The Asian-Pacific Initiative on Reproductive Endocrinology. He is President of the International Society for the Study of the Aging Male, and Editor of The Aging Male, a journal devoted to men’s health and aging.
He graduated from the medical School in Geneva Switzerland. Following his post graduate work in Geneva he joined the Weitzman Institute as senior Scientist 1959 -1962, and from 1962-1995 was chairman of the Institute of Endocrinology, Chaim Sheba Medical Center and the WHO International Reference Center for Fertility Promoting Drugs. From 1984-1986 was Acting Chief Scientist Ministry of Health. He acted as a Consultant and member of Expert Committees at the World Health Organization for more than 25 years.
Professor Lunenfeld is best known for his pioneering work in humanreproduction. After describing the clinical use of hMG in men and women in 1960, his group was the first to achieve a pregnancy with hMG in 1961, demonstrated binding of hCG to LH receptors in theca cells in 1967 and were the first to induce ovulation followed by pregnancy with GnRH in an hMG-stimulated cycle in 1975. His research interests pertain to the physiology and pathology of male and female reproduction. These include stimulators, modulators and regulators of, spermatogenesis, spermiogenesis, folliculogenesis and ovulation,. His present research involves the mechanism of action of gonadotrophins, Kisspeptides, GnRH and growth factors on gene expression and steroidogenesis
At his initiative in1997 at the Royal Society of Medicine in London ISSAM was registered with the objective of promoting research , study and education on all matters relating to men health. The main goal of ISSAM was to allow men and women to age in health and dignity
He organized in collaboration with the World Health Organization the first, second and third world Congress of the aging male in Geneva ,and co- organized 11more such congresses.The last in 2014 year in Almaty (Khazastan).
He organized 9 symposia on GnRH analogues in cancer and reproduction, published more than 400 papers 19 books including a textbook on Male and Female Infertility and one of the “first textbooks on Men’s Health. He gave more than 700 invited lectures and chaired or co-chaired more than 300 sessions at national/international Meetings. He trained more than 200 local and foreign physicians and supervised more than 50 MD, MSC, and Ph.D. Students
Professor Lunenfeld has received several distinguished international awards for his scientific achievements, including the special recognition award of the United States Public Health Service for his outstanding contribution in the promotion of health from the Surgeon General (1983), the Verdienstkreuz 1 Klasse – one of Germany’s highest honours – signed by the President of Germany, Roman Herzog (1995), the Bertarelli Foundation Award for his lifetime achievements in women’s health (2002) and the World Fertility Awareness Month Lifetime Achievement Award (2005).
Professor Lunenfeld is honorary member of European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology( ESHRE), the International Federation of Fertility Societies (IFFS), German, Polish and Italian. Swiss Society of Gynecology and Obstetrics, German Endocrine Society of Reproduction, Austrian Society of Fertility and Sterility, and the Asian Society of Andrology.

 

Dr. Svetlana Kalinchenko

MD, PhD, professor, Chair of Endocrinology, People’s Friendship University of Russia, Scientific Director, Clinic of Professor Kalinchenko    (Moscow, Russia)

She graduated from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University, diploma with honors, in 1993, after that she passed residency and post graduates studies at Endocrinology Scientific Centre, where she started her medical career. Together with medical work in Endocrinology Scientific Centre, she also did a lot of researches and as a result defended first PhD and then Doctoral theses on the “Age Androgen Deficit: Clinical Picture, Diagnostics, Treatment”. This monograph turned out to be a sensation in the world of science and very quickly became a must-have book for andrologists. Professor Kalinchenko gives lectures in the most prestigious and famous medical organizations in Europe and all over the world. Kalinchenko S.J. is the author of more than 120 scientific publications, among them are 4 methodology textbooks for doctors, chapters in monographs “Adiposis”, “Gender correction in Trans-sexuality”, “Small Penis”. She is the author of four monographs: “Problems of Age Androgen Deficit in Men: Clinical Picture, Diagnostics, Treatment”, “Sexual Disorder in Men with diabetes”, “Trans-sexuality”, “Klinefelter syndrome” and a practice direction “Practical Andrology”. Kalinchenko S.J., as a practicing andrology, has worked out and patented a unique method to prevent androgen deficit by stimulating the body to produce more testosterone. In the past, there was only one way to compensate androgen deficit, which was by taking testosterone medicine. Now Dr. Kalinchenko’s method is used by andrologs all over the world. Dr. Kalinchenko is a practicing specialist with more than 15 years of experience in andrology, endocrinology, sexual pathology and is a member of several international medical organizations.

 

KVETNOY IGOR MOISEEVITCH

Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, MD, PhD, professor, FSBI «SRI of Tocogynecology named by D.O. Ott», the head of Department of pathomorphology (Saint-Petersburg, Russia).

In 1972 he graduated from the Kuibyshev Medical Institute. DI Ulyanova.

Specialist in the field of molecular medicine and neuroimmune-endocrinology. One of the authors of the discovery of extrapineal melatonin products. He made a great contribution to the discovery and development of the theory of the diffuse neuroimmune-endocrine system. Belongs to the founders of the Russian scientific school of neuroimmune-endocrinology.

In 1991 she graduated from the medical faculty of the Kemerovo State Medical Institute.
He has been working in the SBEE DPO “NIIUV Ministry of Health” since 2000, first as a senior lecturer at the Department of Medical Ecology, Epidemiology and Healthy Lifestyle, then Associate Professor.
Since 2007 Head of the Department, which in 2009 was renamed the Department of General Hygiene and Epidemiology.
In 1998 she defended her thesis "The prevalence of iodine deficiency goiter among the population of the industrial center and the improvement of methods for its prevention."

Aksana Kucher

In 1987 she graduated from Belorussian State University named after IN AND. Lenin (Minsk, Republic of Belarus) with a degree in genetics; From 1983 to 1987 she studied at full-time basic postgraduate studies at the Institute of General Genetics named after N.I. Vavilova RAS (Moscow), in 1987 she defended her thesis on the specialty "Genetics".
From April 1987 to the present, he has been working at the Scientific Research Institute of Medical Genetics, Tomsk (at present, the Scientific Research Institute of Medical Genetics, Tomsk National Research Medical Center, Russian Academy of Sciences). Leonid Vorslov

MD, PhD, professor, Chair of Endocrinology, People’s Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, Russia).

He was born on December 23, 1966 in Moscow into the family of a military man and a doctor. After finishing school he entered Kalinin State University, Chemical-Biological Department. After the 1styear he was drafted into forces and after dismission, left the university and entered I.M. Sechenov Moscow Medical Institute, the 1st department of general medicine in 1987. 1993 after graduating from institute, by that time the name had been changed for Moscow Medical Academy, he started residency in cardiology at academic center of the medical center at the Department of Presidential Affairs. From 1995 to 2003 he worked as a cardio-resuscitator at the division of emergency cardiology of the 51st city clinical hospital.
From 2003 to 2011 he worked at surgery department of Endocrinology Scientific Center as a senior associate. Since 2011 he has been Head of the Medical Department at Professor Kalinchenko Clinic. Since 2012 he has been a professor of Endocrinology Faculty at FPPOV MW PFUR. He has passed various courses in different spheres, such as neuro-endocrinology, diabetology, certificate course on social health and health care organizing, has defended a thesis on the topic: “Interconnection between Testosterone Level Lowering and Disorder of Lipid Metabolism in Men with Ischemic Heart Disease”. Spheres of scientific interests: pathophysiological mechanisms of development, age associated diseases, development of complex approaches to prophylactics and correction.

Irina Gureva

MD, Ph.D, Professor, Head of department of Endocrinology, Federal Bureau of Medical and Social Expertise for people with disabilities, professor of department of Endocrinology and Diabetology, Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education. She is a practising doctor endocrinologist and diabetic foot specialist.

She was trained in diabetic foot in University Clinic of Geneva, Manchester Royal Infirmary and University of Virginia (rehabilitation and technology). Scince 1991 she is a Director of “Diabetes Foot Centre” of “International Diabetes Programm” and a national representative in International Working Group of Diabetic Foot. Scince 2018 she is a full member of international society „D-Foot International“. She was elected as Council Member of European Association for the study of Diabetes (EASD) (2003-2007) and as Committee Member of Diabetic Foot Study Group of EASD (DFSG) (2001-2008). Fields of research interests: diabetic foot, diabetic sensory-motor and autonomic neuropathy, diabetic complications. She is author of 180 publications. She is reviewer of Diabetes Medicine (UK), Diabetes Science and Technology (US), member of editorial board of Diabetic Foot Journal (UK). She organized several International Diabetic Foot meetings (2005, 2008, 2011) and five Postgraduate Courses in Diabetes for EASD (2007, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018) in Russia.

She participated in several polar expedition, head of biomedical research program of women expedition in Antarctica in 1988-89.

 

Natalya Cherevko

MD, professor of the Department of Immunology and Allergology, Siberian State Medical University, Director of the clinic of the Center for Family Medicine. Practicing doctor, allergist-immunologist, specialist in preventive and anti-aging medicine (Tomsk, Russia)

food allergy and food maladaptation, the role of the immune system in digestion; metabolic syndrome and food maladaptation; features of food hypersensitivity and immune regulation of digestion in children with autism spectrum disorders; personalized immunodietology in anti-age technologies, nitrigenomics.
He is the author of more than 70 publications.
Graduated from Tomsk Medical Institute (Siberian Medical University) in 1984. In 1988, graduate school in clinical immunology and allergology; in 1992 she successfully defended her thesis: "Features of the functional activity of the macrophage system in atopic bronchial asthma in children" under the supervision of Dr. med. sciences, professors, academician of RAMS N.V. Vasilieva. In 1996, she completed the international certification cycle with a degree in Allergology, Immunology at the Medical University of Aquilla (Italy). In 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic “Immunological mechanisms of reactivation of herpetic infection and its relationship with allergopathology”, specialty 14.03.03 - pathological physiology and 14.03.09 - clinical immunology, allergology. Cherevko N.A. Irina Tatarnikova

Irina Tatarnikova graduated from the Kemerovo Medical Academy in 2010, after which in 2010 - 2011 she completed internship in the specialty "Therapy", in 2011 - 2013 - residency in the specialty "Endocrinology", professional retraining in the specialty "Dietology" at the Novokuznetsk Institute for Improvement Doctors, the base at the City Clinical Hospital No. 1.
