Evgenia Shikh

In 1987, she graduated from the First Moscow Medical Institute named after I.M. Sechenov. From 1987 to 1989, she trained at the clinical residency and from 1989 to 1992 was a postgraduate student in Clinical Pharmacology at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology under the guidance of V.G. Kukes, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences. 

In 1992, she received her doctorate for the degree of PhD in medicine on the theme “The effect of food on pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of some cardiotropic drugs” and in 2002 presented a thesis for the degree of Doctor of Medicine on the theme “The vitamin status and its recovery by means of pharmacologic correction using vitamin drugs”. 

Since 1992, she had been working at the Institute of Conventional Therapeutic Methods of MoH of the RF, which in 1995 was renamed into the Scientific Center for Expert Examination of Products for Medical Use. She built up her carrier from a research associate to the Head of the of Drugs Monitoring Department at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology of the Federal State Budget-funded Institution, Scientific Center for Expert Examination of Products for Medical Use. From 2008 to 2013, E.V. Shikh was the Dean of the Faculty for Postgraduate Vocational Education of Physicians; since 2013 till now, she has been the Director of the Vocational Education Institute at the State Budget-funded Educational Institution for Higher Vocational Education, First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. Since 2001 up to this day, she has been a Professor at the Clinical Pharmacology and Propedeutics of Internal Diseases Department of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov. Shikh E.V. is the leading research worker of the Department of Personalized Medicine and Clinical Pharmacogenetics at the Center of Clinical Pharmacology of the Federal State Budget-funded Institution Scientific Center for Expert Examination of Products for Medical Use of MoH of Russia.
